| Frog | Rita model purchased from http://www.froggyhome.com. Connects to pc via khaki coloured serial cable (attached) and homemade serial cable extension to reach outside on the balcony. |
| Logging Software | The Froggy Home software (included with frog) communicates with the frog, logs Temperature, Air Pressure and Relative Humidity once a minute. The values are graphed in the Froggy Home window and the data is store in a file on the hard drive. Screengrab |
| Web Frog Software | Web Frog is custom software ingeniously developed in VB by Evan to read the values in the data file at regular intervals, generate a jpg image file with the values along with the time and date and upload the image to the specified website via ftp, overwriting the previous image. | In January 2005 Evan updated WebFrog to also handle the upload of the webcam image from the new wireless camera. |
